Physicians attending a course may report as Category 1 credit the number of hours stated by each course description toward the California Medical Association's Certificate in Continuing Medical Education and the American Medical Association's Physician's Recognition Award. Psychologists: Under the recently revised regulations of the Board of Psychology, completion of any Institute class may be submitted to the MCEPAA for Mandatory Continuing Education for Psychologists credit, based on the Institute's standing as an accredited provider of Continuing Medical Education. Individual psychologists wishing to receive MCEP credits for Institute programs will receive a certificate of completion from the Institute and are responsible for self-reporting attendance to the MCEPAA on the MCEP Reporting Form. (Provider # PSY 009). Licensed Clinical Social Workers and Marriage & Family Therapists: All courses meet the qualifications of continuing education (CE) credit for MFT's and/or LCSW's as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. The number of hours is noted with each course description. The provider number for the Psychoanalytic Center of California is PCE 1355. Nurses: The Psychoanalytic Center of California is an approved provider by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider # CEP 6003, for the number of hours that is noted with each course description. Refund Policy: Refunds, less a $15 administrative fee, will be made if withdrawal notification is phoned in or postmarked three (3) business days in advance of the scheduled meeting date(s).
