Psychoanalytic Training from an Object Relations Perspective The Psychoanalytic Center of California offers intensive training in psychoanalysis and psychoanalytic psychotherapy emphasizing the study of early states of mind and their impact on development. An integral part of the training in psychoanalysis is a course in infant observation processed within a seminar format. The well-balanced curriculum includes an in-depth study of Freud, Klein and Bion, and the British Independent School; Trauma and Narcissism; Primitive Mental Disorders and Advanced Psychoanalytic Technique. PCC also offers a Ph.D. and Psy.D. degree in Psychoanalysis, a course of study leading to Certification in Child Psychoanalysis, and a one-year program in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. |
